SECTION 1

Short title and commencement

•The Abducted Persons (Recovery and Restoration) Continuance Act, 1955 1. Short title and commencement.- (1) This Act may be called the Abducted Persons (Recovery and Restoration) Continuance Act, 1955. (2) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 30th day of May, 1955.

SECTION 2

Amendment of section I

•The Abducted Persons (Recovery and Restoration) Continuance Act, 1955 2. Amendment of section I.- In sub-section (3) of section 1 of the Abducted Persons (Recovery and Restoration) Act, 1949 (45 of 1949), for the words and figures "31st day of May, 1955", the words and figures "30th day of November, 1956", shall be substituted.

SECTION 3

Repeal of Ordinance 2 of 1955

•The Abducted Persons (Recovery and Restoration) Continuance Act, 1955 3. Repeal of Ordinance 2 of 1955 .- The Abducted Persons (Recovery and Restoration) Continuance Ordinance, 1955 (2 of 1955), is hereby repealed.
