The National Institutes of Technology, Science Education and Research (Amendment) Act, 2017

•The National Institutes of Technology, Science Education and Research (Amendment) Act, 2017 No. 19 of 2017 [4th August, 2017.] An Act further to amend the National Institutes of Technology, Science Education and Research Act, 2007. BE it enacted by Parliament in the Sixty-eighth Year of the Republic of India as follows:-

SECTION 2

Short title and commencement

1.(1) This Act may be called the National Institutes of Technology, Science Education and Research (Amendment) Act, 2017. (2) It shall come into force on such date as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.

SECTION 3

Amendment of Second Schedule to Act 29 of 2007

2.In the Second Schedule to the National Institutes of Technology, Science Education and Research Act, 2007, after serial number 5 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial numbers and entries shall be inserted, namely:-
