•The Sugar Cess (Amendment) Act, 2015 Act No. 9 of 2016 [8th January, 2016.] An Act further to amend the Sugar Cess Act, 1982. BE it enacted by Parliament in the Sixty-sixth Year of the Republic of India as follows:-
SECTION 2
Short title and commencement
1.(1) This Act may be called the Sugar Cess (Amendment) Act, 2015. (2) It shall come into force on such date as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
SECTION 3
Amendment of section 3 of Act 3 of 1982
2.In the Sugar Cess Act, 1982, in section 3, in sub-section (1), for the words "twenty-five rupees", the words "two hundred rupees" shall be substituted.
